The prestigious long list for the first Theakston's Old Peculier Crime Novel of the Year Award has been announced, and Disordered Minds has been nominated! You can view the long list online and vote for your favourite author. Plus, one lucky voter could win a weekend break and tickets to the festival! Voting closes on 31 May 2005 and a short list of six titles will be announced on 13 June.
The award is open to any crime novel by a British author published for the first time in paperback in 2004. Sponsored by Theakston's and promoted throughout the UK in Ottakar's Bookstores, the winner will be announced at the Theakston's Old Peculier Harrogate Crime Writing Festival on July 21st.
